Review of A Thousand Nights by E.K. Johnston : Saleena Davidson

A Thousand Nights is a riff on the Arabian nights story, but with a slightly different view....specifically, it's set in another land (where magic exists) and the "evil prince" who kills his brides, is actually possessed by a demon or djinn (never really defined).  This isn't a set of stories (as in, tonight she tells a tale), but more of her figuring out her circumstances and seeing how to survive and get rid of the demon.  I really liked that this was sort of familiar while being completely new.  All in all, a really cool story that you should try.
